Why Convert Lawn to a Native Garden?

Native Garden 1

Save Water & Cut Costs

Native gardens use up to 80% less water than lawns. They also require less maintenance. You’ll drastically reduce the cost of water and landscaping for your HOA.

Native Garden 2

Restore Biodiversity

Species such as monarch butterflies have declined sharply in the last 30 years. They need native plants to survive. Your HOA’s native garden can help save them.

Native Garden 3

Increase Appeal & Pride

Color and dimension will traverse your landscape, creating a signature look that stands out. Your HOA will see increased curb appeal and community pride.

AB1572 is a new regulation in California that will, starting January 1, 2029, prohibit the use of potable water for irrigating non-functional turf in the common areas of Homeowners Associations (HOAs). This regulation aims to reduce overall water usage in outdoor landscaping, promoting water conservation and resilience in anticipation of future water shortages due to increased demand and reduced supply.
