A Pollinator Garden That Fulfilled the Dream of the Homeowner

Nov 03, 2021

Before, the front yard was totally barren.
When the homeowner first talked to us about designing a new garden, a pollinator garden was at the top of her wishlist. With that in mind, we selected many native plants that would attract bees, birds and monarch butterflies. The garden was planted in summer and in the first spring after install, the garden exploded with flowers. The flowers brought the pollinators and now, anytime you look, you can see bees, birds and even monarch butterflies!

Monarch Butterlfies
These milkweeds provide food and habitat for monarch butterflies. The monarch population has declined by 80% in the last 20 years. To stem the loss and help rebuild populations, homeowners can plant milkweed in their yards.
