Walk In Native Landscaping and Enjoy Its Beauty

Mar 30, 2022

This homeowner wanted an facelift for their home. Part of their vision was a front yard with a walkable path among beautiful native yarrow and mallow flowers. Once the plants were established, the garden soon became habitat for several different species of native pollinators.
We updated the driveway and walkway with pavers. We were able to achieve a naturalistic look that meshed with the homeowner’s aesthetic.
A driveway made up of pavers is more durable than concrete. They also come in a variety of colors and patterns; interlocking pavers are water-permeable, which makes them much more eco-friendly than concrete.
A huge benefit of a native garden is that they can provide food and habitat for local wildlife, and increase biodiversity. Pollinators can be seen in the garden all the time.
A parking strip is the long strip between the road and the sidewalk. While it usually is not very big, it’s enough space to add plants and increase curb appeal! Native plants will also provide additional food to pollinators.
